Printed on the back of my CFI certificate, under section XIII: Limitations:

"Valid only when accompanied by pilot certificate No. ########. Expires: [date]"

The number that follows is my commercial certificate number.

My question to you, if you are only utilizing your CFI license, why are you required to carry and have your commercial license?
