Actually, I commute from the West Coast so I'd rather fly than sit around the crashpad. It works out ok.
I typically got hammered on reserve on the 320 in DTW. Was DH'd all over the system. It wasn't uncommon to have a trip that had more DH legs then flying legs. They tore through reserves while I was on that category. Glad to hear that at least you're getting used while at work. That's the way you want it if you can't sit LC @ home.
