I used cassette tapes from a company called Flight-Tech. I think that they were out of Colorado, and a brief search on the internet seems to indicate that they are no longer in business, but if you can find a used set of their PPL written test tapes, I would highly recommend them.

They are pretty cheesy, but they are remarkably effective at drilling info into your head. Very good product.
