The way the ideas and concepts flow out like diarrhea, it is tough to nail down one specific point to ‘debate’.
If someone wants to just make one simple point, we can all ‘debate’ that until we are exhausted and then move onto the next point.
One of the things I have been addressing is that most people here, when addressing ‘economic’ issues, don’t apparently have a clue as to what they are talking about. In typical Liberal fashion, they talk about their 'feelings' about specific economic issues .. like “the Global Economy” without any foundation in fact.
There is no way that anyone can make a factual point that pilot’s pay is going down because Dell has moved its Call Center to New Dehli .. or where ever. ‘Outsourcing’ and ‘Global Economics’ have nothing to do with it.
Pilot pay is going down because management has wised up to the fact that many pilots don’t respect the years of education, training and experience it takes to get in the door for an interview. And because once in the door they don’t support the hard line of the union. Pilot groups are weak and management beats them around the head and shoulders with their own weakness. You don’t see doctors and attorneys taking pay cuts!
I am baffled that the Pilot’s Wife took exception to my mixing “SFO elites” and flaming Liberal (words to that effect). She said she thought they were mutually exclusive. NOT in my world! Ask any conservative. How do you debate THAT? San Francisco is the most over the edge, anti-American, whacked out FAAAR Left place in the contiguous 48! When the other party doesn’t understand that 80% of the country does not have a problem equating them.
You want a debate? Then pose an issue .ONE issue and we can point and counter point it. But the way the issues have been spewing out, it makes it a tough format to debate. KB and I don't deal in "feelings” . .it is cold, hard fact with us.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Cold hard facts! Are you kidding me? You have not ONCE made available anything published to back up your argument. Lets not appear to take the high road here and not have anything to back it up.
You don't see doctors and laywers taking pay cuts.....I guess the HMO is something your not familiar with. I have a brother who is an orthopaedic surgeon that would love to tear you limb from limb for THAT ignorant statement and a sister-in-law who is one of the top litigators in the country who would be next in line for your hide. Both of you clowns are slitting your own wrists every time you post. First its general opinions with ZERO facts about why pilot salaries are down and then when you are backed into a corner you cry about factless statements. You both would have a GREAT careers on the Hill. Again, I implore you to give me ONE article, statement, interview, etc...that places PFT pukes solely to blame for lower pilot salaries. You can't and you know it and your frustration about that is glaringly present.
