I would also like to comment that going to a university is not the quickest way to an airline, i got hired 2 years after starting floght lessons and another guy in my class was the same. We both went the mom and pop way, saved a ton of money and got hired as CFIs immediately after. I also got a bachelors on the side which total $$$ spent in it and flyig is quite less than going to Riddle. You do not need those schools to get the job done, its up to you and your determination. Networking on your own can get you the same results as a bridge program. Plus youll have time for the ladies that way, being young is worth it. DO NOT skip that. Also I did an internship with an airline that was a gauranteed interview, never got the opportunity to use that because they are no longer around. It helped me with other jobs and the experience was amazing but it didnt pan out. You do not need Embry Riddle for those "steps ahead" you can get them on your own, just need to work at it.
