Two vastly different guarantees and I can't believe that an airline would guarantee someone a job based on some hours flown, attending a few presentations on campus, while maintaining a predetermined GPA.
Pretty basic like requirements like you said to be promising a job.

There is a panel interview to enroll in the program itself, but participants are indeed guaranteed a conditional offer of employment with ExpressJet, as long as I'm understanding it correctly. Of course, you'd still have to get through training.
