I understand. But to be perfectly frank with you, I live in a town and go to a district where most students have taken at least one SAT before graduating middle school, have a top 3 college list set in stone as a Freshman, and know exactly where they want to live after college before they even graduate high school. It may be insane, but what I'm doing right now in terms of research and salary info, etc., is in line with what the rest of my classmates are doing as well. I happen to find it incredibly exciting.
