No sweat dude, I got a call from one of the Captains that did my interview last week and is the same info you gave me. It was a very nice gesture they're trying to keep us in the loop, he told me they still plan to hire due to retirements merger or no merger.

Hopefully you can get on before the merger, after one is announced I think they will offer the positions to the 1700+ furloughed american guys. The unknown is what the 50 + furloughed west guys choose to do, the one guy I keep in touch with has no desire to go east since it is an 18 month lock and the west is due to need pilots this fall.
