Previous Air Force One experience "desired" but not required. IP time in C-5, C-17, KC-135 is acceptable substitute. IP time in bomber/attack aircraft also desired. Civilian equivalent is 500 hours PIC in International, Flat Panel turbine aircraft such as Global Express or G-5, with 300 hours PIC for every 100 hours PIC military.
A guy with 2000 hours PIC C-17 will get the same "points" on the FedEx computer as a guy with 6000 hours PIC in a G-5 under "Flight Experience" section.
If you have these,
apply for interview. Get interview. Pass the gotten-interview. Pass the psych test. Pass the sim. All of above goes into a packet for "final review" by CP and HR
