And lets not be PC or anything like that, but I hope she realizes that being female and a miniority is the best combination you can have in this industry! That's two checkboxes the hiring committees can sign off on just one applicant.
I don't think a white male would have fared as well unfortunately. It's a tough pill to swallow when we can look back only 50 years ago when minorities were marching for equality, to be judged by their character and not by the color of their skin.
