You do understand that AMR is shrinking in SJU because it doesn't need it anymore, there is less than a handful of airports that must be serviced by a prop for the time being but most of the flying into the Caribbean from AMR is being done out of MIA something like 90%! Why would AMR bring in Silver with a Beech 1900 T-prop? Or even a SAAB? AMR just filled to get out of the gate leases in SJU because it doesn't need that many any more and will be shrinking the ops even further. Please understand that American Airlines goes hard after the business traveler and putting these passenger into a 1900 doesn't seem their business style (not that the ATR is Cadillac, but it's much better than a 1900 or a SAAB). I don't want to turn this into you stole my flying but I am glad that your company is going in a way that you will benefit but don't come in here stating that you will taking over from a different company. I am just surprised how Silver is going to take over the world with a bunch of beat down 1900 and a handful of wore out SAABs that have been parked by other companies!
