I was there yesterday when that happened. It was a mess. I came in at 12:30 and there were 8 Jetblue aircraft on the pad waiting for de-ice, with more on the way. At one point IAT was turning planes back from the de-ice pad becuase there was no more space. I had to wait 1.5 hours for a gate, and then 20 minutes for them to clear it with the tractors. It took us 3 hours to turn around becuase of congestion comming in to the IAT rmp. Not to mention some plane movers did not have chains on the wheels, so imagine that joy.

I would love to hear the tapes of the conversations between the company ops and the aircraft. What were they telling those guys when they had a shift change? "Uh hold on JB xx, I'm going home now." "I'll pass on your question." "Bye."
