There needs to be one for FAs as well. Case in point, I was traveling first class on USAir on a full fare ticket. I was in no need to rush and board when first was called and boarded later in the process.
Getting to the cabin, there is a gentleman in my seat. I politely tell him so and he responds with, "I always sit on the aisle." Apparently not in this case because I have the seat. The flight attendant, I assume she though I was an upgrade since I boarded later, tells me to sit in the window seat. I told her I'd rather not, that's why I booked an aisle. She says she doesn't have time to deal with it and I need to sit down. Fine, I just want to go home. During the flight, I order a bloody mary. The FA hands my a cup of ice, the mixer, and vodka. Really??, for $1500 one way you won't even make my drink?
Needless to say I go out of my way to not fly USAir when traveling domestically. Overseas, the FAs bend over backwards for you.
I flew pax for 8 years before freight so I've seen the operational side as well as the consumer side.
