I know a lot of us on furlough have tried to figure out "how much longer?" From what I understand, it is expected that everybody will be offered a CAL job by September, though estimates have been wrong before. My question is a little different: At what point in time is it supposed that pilots toward the bottom of the UAL list will have to decide between recall and resignation? I have friends at Airways who give accounts of short periods between going through the list the first and second time, but I'm curious what anybody thinks about U. If I'm missing something, I apologize. I'm trying to figure out what kind of timeframe I have in other avenues, especially if we don't get longevity pay for furlough. I've searched the threads, but not found anything. Thanks.
