Don't believe that is correct. With respect to the CO "new hire" offer you can bypass and later throw your name in the hat if they are hiring. As a furloughed UA pilot I think you can bypass on the way down the recall list the first time. Second call is bottom up and you have to return or resign. (excluding Mil leave and pilots who have a contract that has to be completed)
