From what I understand, you can click not to deviate on the second leg and it still drops off, to include any ground transportation. However, if its labelled GT, scheduling has claimed they don't cancel it. I think in SLC, you will have to reschedule the GT. In PHL to DOV, for example, they are supposed to hold the GT since it's marked as a separate event.

At least that's how it's supposed to work.
