The sum total of those raises was a negative number, and getting furloughed while my "brothers" petitioned for us not be hired... didn't sit well.
You're living in an exception right now. Whether your job should have been at mainline is a matter for a different selection process, not an automatic proposition. We've hurt the profession by failing to stop outsourcing, including ourselves, but your whining doesn't carry any automatic legitimacy. Paradoxically, you've got to earn your spot before you can prove you deserved a spot in the first place. Then, and only then, can you whine retroactively.
For now, enjoy both coasts, and try not to damage the aircraft. We probably paid for it.
