According to people above my pay grade, which is nothing, Comair has agreed to operate certain aircraft, not sure which ones. It appears that Comair will be forced to fly these aircraft/routes as pinnacle will be unable to provide the lift due to upcoming furloughs.
Pinnacle wouldn't continue furloughing if new aircraft were on order. But since it is hopefully unlikely Delta will let go this much scope, it doesn't matter. More likely scenario? Pinnacle merges with Comair, and even that is a stretch.
