Well, there isn't much positive light unless you want to include perdiem at 1.35 an hour. Many guys on ramen noodles or pb&j sandwiches etc. You forgot the outstation basing and the training contract. It's 15 months at $7500 not prorated.
I heard from a friend a while ago that it is mostly day trips so you do not get per diem most of the time. What is it like currently? Do you get more overnights or per diem when you are working?
