I think this peanut allergy stuff is for the birds! Seriously. So approximately 1 million people are potentially deathly allergic to peanuts. Honestly, they should stay home then for their own safety. There's so many things in life that have peanuts or similar nuts in them it's ridiculous.
I can't believe if someone complains, we're not going to serve peanuts or anything else with peanuts on the plane. Wasn't the peanut ban a row before and after sufficient for these folks? Did anyone die? Were there any diverts due to anaphylactic shock?
The planes are riddled with peanut dust. It's airborne and on the seats, carpet, furnishings, etc. Since the airline can't guarantee an allergen free airplane, then those folks that are life threatened by the allergy shouldn't fly. It isn't safe. For those who aren't going to die if they come into contact with the peanut residue, then I guarantee you, my M&Ms aren't going to kill you either. Good grief.
