I think he's probably in the minority, though. From talking to older DL guys on my jumpseat & those whose jumpseats I've been on, it
seems the majority would be happy to go if not for financial considerations. The more DL sweetens the pot, the more they'll get to go. As for the guy you flew with, probably no amount could get him to go, but that's ok. Sounds like the sort of CA I'd like to fly with when I get to DL.
