What's with all the "Raa Raa Regional Pride!" going on?

Capt. Sully is trying to shine a light and bring pressure to bear on the regional industry to improve it's safety level. Are there variations between regional companies? Sure. So you might work at Airline Awesome. Good for you. I hope that the model at Airline Awesome gets copied at the other regionals, because you shouldn't want there to be variation. You should expect and even demand that your deadhead on another regional airline will be as safe as Airline Awesome. Variation in levels of safety is not awesome. Some of us work with such levels of dysfunctionality that it will boggle your little Regional Airline Pride head.

I, for one, welcome his comments. There is only so much air crews can do when everything is continuously stacked on their shoulders to take care of.
