Despite what the SmartPref sales letter stated, the reality is our guys asked pertinent questions that SmartPref did not answer. From talking to our reps prior to the letter, they were still open but had serious concerns about globalization and award auditing that SmartPref would not or could not answer. After the hours our guys put into researching and trying to understand the system, the letter more or less confirmed that their questions would not be resolved.
You're right, I don't know what I'm talking about because your MEC won't explain anything about their findings. From talking to ASA crews they all have one thing in common I've noticed: Nice people, willing to discuss pros/cons with PBS and they can't stand their crooked reps. I'm starting touting that the rumor of them not moving on their positions is because they enjoy full time trip loss, and know once this thing is buttoned up their tenures are over, thus forcing them to go back to the line and (shudder) actually fly an airplane!
If I'm wrong, please post their responses to their meetings with the SmartPref people.
