It's not a NvS post, it's a lingering "GvS" politics post, as was described to me by several of you. Now, before I get reminded that I wasn't there, I'll stipulate to the fact that I have no expertise in pre-merger politics.

But post-merger politics have been pretty consistent. It's my observation that some guys will always make it a career to be against anything that's not 100% popular. Obviously, these guys counted votes, and obviously, they know they were not going to scuttle it, and I think they like it exactly that way. I remain unimpressed by their politics. In fact, I think the MEC should call their bluff, and rally behind these five, turn a T/A down. Let them lead a while.

Nothing to do with the pilot group in general, or either pre-merger group.
