They are taking the 1900 out of the schedule. They are not going to train the new hire class in the Saab to displace them into the 1900 after training... That's twice the training for a plane they are going to park. I think the thing here is timing... They have 2 Saab's hitting the line every month and not enough people to fly them. There isn't time to train the new hires in the 1900 and then do the transition training. Why train someone to fly something that is going away? The answer is they're not going to. EVERYONE is going to the Saab it's just a matter of getting them on property and getting the flights started ASAP... If this weren't true then why the street captains? I know it stinks for those in the 1900 right now but I think the fact that they're doing it this way shows how much growth they are ramping up for... I'm excited to be on board...
