Ask CAL pilots about this. The company and their previous union leadership convinced them that the ONLY way to get more pay in a contract was to work more days. That's why we do our annual sim evals on our days off, and days off during a vacation month are prorated so that the only value of it is to block those day from work, not to get more days off from work that month. Beware CAL management now working at DAL.
