My thoughts are the same. I believe the industry is bracketing for the future. 3 MEGA global alliances composed of US, European, Asian, and ME carriers. There are boots on the ground in Washington as we speak, attempting to modify the foreign ownership rules. I see big changes within 5 years. I view this potential AA/US merger as a strategic step for the OneWorld Alliance.
