Then they used illegal means to win the vote with illegal proxy votes. They had a company paid employee, a crew scheduler, handing out and collecting proxy votes in the crew room. Signed by pilots without having the proxy carrier name listed at the time of signing (which is a violation of the interpretation of ALPA constitution and by-laws).
They also had a negotiating team member handing out proxy forms and telling people to put them in the ALPA box in the crew room. Proxy carrier names were not listed this time either. Plenty of people witnessed this. At the meeting, they had a bunch of previously filled out and signed proxy votes asking people in attendance to fill in their name as proxy carriers. Illegal again, same as above. Also using the ALPA box to stuff votes for only one side is obviously a violation of improper ALPA resource uses.
As per constitution and By-laws they were required to (regular mail) out a meeting notification for a special recall meeting to EVERY member of 133 no later than 15 days in advance of the meeting. I still have not talked to one person that received one in the mail. One person claims to have gotten one on another forum post, but at least 15 people I asked personally never did. Along with everyone else on the forum stating they never received it. So this is another major violation of the rules.
There was also NO time listed on the meeting notification as required by constitution and by-laws either.
This whole thing was rigged from the start.
Of course it was rigged, that's what corrupt people do. They won't make it easy to remove their power. Collectively, the pilots have become Pvt. Lawrence in the movie 'Full Metal Jacket' unwilling to overcome their obstacle.
You have 2 choices. Either a group of you take the lead and persue DFR via a lawsuit or you resign yourselves to being victims of your own cause.
