I’m not trying to dramatize just try to make a comparison to a person that works full time and gets paid by the hour.
By the way a 1999 PFC made$ 13524/52=260/40=$6.50

Then you and I have had different experiences with buying cars (or anything else on loan) then because I have never been asked to breakdown my SALARY into a per hour wage (which is the difference between a SALARY AND PER HOUR WAGE EARNER), even before the military. At most they want to know my weekly take home.

Jay2 - did you also explain to the loan officer that you did not work 40 work weeks? I think 60 HR work week would be more average and that is in garrison, we won't even hit on the deployed time I mentioned in my first post. I mean if they just want a numbers game and fit a square peg in a round hole. As far as GLA hourly pay goes, it is already broken up that way. Didn't someone else post earlier around $16/HR?
