A lot of you need to ask yourself, does it really matter who goes to whatever kiddie table. (Yea I am at the kiddie table too).
I think a lot of peps on here dog on those that go to places like mesa (dash8)that have short upgrade time because they are scarred to take a gamble on a place that might hurt their feelings.
All of the experienced major airline pilots I know say, "it dosent maTter what regional you work for, just accecpt the first job you are offered and do your time and get out!"
So who cares if Mesa sux. The only legit reason I have seen on this siite is that the upgrade is forever in the jet, what about the dash? I say who cares!!!!!! if u can be a captn in less than a year when u get 1500 that is great!!!!!

Are you on the dash? If so you can gut it out, get your PIC and move on. I don't too much issue with turbo-prop pilots who are willing to get abused for PIC, that's the way it's always been.
You're taking some risk that you will be able to get on at SWA, they seem to interview 20 and hire 3...I know LOT'S of mesa captains with a 73 type and a rejection letter from SWA
Most of the pilots out there realize that they stand a good chance of spending a LONG time at a regional...and mesa is NOT the place for that!
