LA is probably one of the worst bases for trip construction but not as bad as posted.
Keep in mind that in both the 76 and 73 these are lines as awarded. A significant number of pilots will improve their lines through swaps and drops/pickups. As on the 767 this includes vacation since its to hard to break out and was CA lines only.
Sailing, if you take the vacation out of the equation, the results are a lot worse. Flying 75 hrs and getting 10:30 for a 3 day trip, you'll have to work 7.1 trips. That means you'll be flying 21 days. Many of these three days trips are not commutable. The TA will not help correct this flaw. We should have close to 6 hrs pay per day at work. Just one of the items missing from this concessionary agreement.
