This is a brief quote from SD in his weekly Flight Ops update. I know it's an internal memo and I don't normally post/share those so if it's a big no-no to take a quote a couple sentences out of it would a mod please remove this post. Here it is from SD,

"Now, getting back to that myth, since the TA and 717 acquisition were announced, some have expressed concern that the 717s will come with pilots as part of the deal. I can tell you unequivocally that this is not the case. Let me say very clearly that the 717s at Delta would be flown by Delta pilots currently on the seniority list or those we hire to the bottom of the seniority list through our existing hiring processes in the future. I’ll repeat: the 717s will be flown by current and/or new hire Delta pilots, period."
