I just checked my PM and the server logs, you didn't PM me. However, it's still a bizarre stretch in logic to conclude that because you didn't receive a response that we're actively engaged in censorship.

If you read the forum rules (available at the top of every forum) you'll see that we reserve the right to remove any post for any reason. Further you accepted and agreed to abide by those rules when you established an account. While we make considerable attempts to provide a venue for contentious and unpopular topics, the thread in question degraded into a racially charged discussion that passed the point of no return. For the record, I'm the one who closed it and removed it from view.

I think we could all live with that. I was working and never had a chance to read all the way through the thread. PRIOR to it spinning out of control, I made a post - attempting to cool the growing craziness and intended to read the rest when I got home, but it was gone by then.
.
We make sincere efforts to do just that, and are generally successful. When it's just one or two posts that cross the line, it's an easy fix to remove those posts. However, when the majority of the posts are diverging from the forum rules removing posts en masse causes the thread tends to lose context. If that's the case we just remove the entire thread.

I appreciate you trying to get the thread back on track and attempting to keep the dialog moving within the forum rules. That truly is the spirit of a community forum and we hope all users will follow your leadership in that respect.
