The 13 days is working days, not sure what SIMCOM's schedule is, but probably Monday thru Saturday. Sim probably runs 16-20 hours a day depending on student throughput.
You will have to get the high altitude endorsement; SIMCOM offers it at MCO, but you, or your company, will have to schedule and pay for it. It is 4 hours, they should be able to fit it in outside the LR course.
First week will be ground school, normal hours, and some procedures trainers. The second week, sims and check. Sim schedule could be anything. Business casual is fine, they will give you the required books and study materials on day one. It WILL be busy; you will a bit overwhelmed; you will leave with a LR rating.
