That part is pure unadulterated union stuff. It's long been my chief complaint about ALPA. An organization that has somehow forgotten why and how ALPA exists.
This is one of those few instances where someone remembered and insisted and recognition of that is in order.

My only problem with it is how it came to be in there in the first place. Was any of that ALPA leverage or the "meet and confer" round table crap? Also, a horrible side effect of this could be RAH joining ALPA and then gaining subsequent leverage over us in defending their "share" of DL flying or having any say in our futures in even a small way. Although I guess it won't matter either way since we exempted them for life anyway.
We really, really need a barf icon BTW.
