We are all in the same boat now, so what happens here effects everyone. In a few months (I hope anyway), we will all be on the same seniority list, and whatever flying is lost or gained will affect everyone, whether you were originally at ASA or ExpressJet. Whether you think ASA is better of XJT is better. No matter how much you hate it, we are all the same now. There is no more XJT or ASA, or one side growing or shrinking. Its like some fairy tale where there was never a merger. Grow the F up and act like professional, adult, airline pilots for Christ sake. I can't wait for this thing to be completed, just so I can stop hearing this crap. Rant over. Thank you
Fair enough, but since all of the hiring and growth has been on the ERJ side in the last two years, but ASA starts losing flying, then that 600 or so pilots immediately become furlough protection for the CRJ side of the house. You may see that as fair or not fair, but as one of those 600 or so guys, that scenario really sucks in my eyes.
