Seniority is everything, and upgrade times are not always easy to predict. That said, go somewhere that will get you turbine PIC fast, then hopefully you can be senior to Saabaroowski at a real airline someday. Nobody wants to work for a regional forever, don't settle for a long career at one just for better QOL in the near term.
