Upgrade time changes... When I was hired there were upgrades within a year. Then we retired 35 planes with no replacements. Suddenly it jumped to a 4-5yr upgrade.

So, it's just a matter of timing and luck. Your airline could go bankrupt before your upgrade or double in size.... You never know.
