So is this mostly for the cargo carriers, or if say, you wanted to work at XYZ airlines to get time in type, and then come back and work for Southwest. Assuming that job is still good. I'm on furlough and am getting to the point of going to another country, but I'd hate to not be able to come back.
FedEx signed a multi-billion $$ contract with USPS in 2001 to haul the mail, airport to airport. I don't believe SWA has a postal contract, but you will have to check with SWA for their specific hiring requirements.
