No, your lawyer probably advised you against it.

If you owned half of the practice, you'd also have half the liability. Including malpractice claims. Also, should the practice fail, you're out, and/or your ex becoming unemployed, he could have the decree changed, thereby excluding you from anything, including alimony.

I love how ex-wives claim they "put" their husband(s) through school.
