HotMama--I'd love to know your career path. I'm sure you didn't leapfrog some folks by being a "hotMAMA"!! You shouldnt be telling someone to pay their dues.
I guess you can say I was lucky, I'd rather say the industry as a whole has slid into the toilet. UPS or FedEx is not a great job, its the fact that all other airlines have ended up in the toilet. As long as guys willing to do this job for pennies on the dollar we are all doomed. If I was starting out and had to work six days a week busting my ass for 25k a year I would find something else to do with my time.
