Well, for better or worse this is life starting out on the civilian side. And I would say that the reason I'm make what I make and have the schedule I have is UPS's schedule and what they pay their contractors. I believe FedEx feeders do a lot better than us.I could take my current skill set back to AK and triple my income but then I'd never get out of a Navajo or Caravan in the bush.
That said, we've got Metro guys who make quite a bit more and have been around a while because they get to be home every day.
In any case, pay and schedule aside I'm really enjoying the flying I'm doing now and in any case it's not forever. Kinda like UPS first year pay.....
