Come on man, maybe just use your inside voice when expressing your glee while the other guys are trying to figure out what the hell just happened.

And as was mentioned on the other site (or was it here), what if this order was placed simply to squeeze the competition out of business and the intent to take actual delivery does not exist? There seems to be a lot going on here, and it's way to soon to say if this is good or bad news.

We are having our annual State of the Union meetings this week with all the pilots coming through Sacramento...not sure if we'll be told anything of interest. Probably not...
As far as NJA pilots are concerned. This is an aircraft order, nothing more. NJA didn't buy Flex and staple the pilots to the bottom of any list etc. It's not glee at the expense of another. It's glee that "our company" ordered a buttload of a/c. Do us furloughees hope for a brighter future someday...of course, but whatever business decisions were made between management has nothing to do with the pilots...

I'm sure there are many NJA pilots on property that are happy for both an order (meaning there is a long term plan of staying in business) and the fact they'll most likely get out of their Hawkers and Ultra's and eventually get into Challengers and Globals and such. (much better aircraft IMO).

But more so everyone still at NJA will be happy that there is atleast an order...

As far as deliveries. There is not going to be any sinister plan to get anyone out of business and then cancel orders. The Globals are on their way, as well as the Phenoms. Sims are built, bids are out, CP's are designated. These orders are slated for 2-4 years down the road. Obviously anything can happen. And I believe it is managements hope that business will be better in a few years. This down economy DOES have to end at some point.

But trust me no one is happy anyone is losing or about to lose their job.
