I'm sure they are all "professional" but it is not a coincidence that there have been quite a few incidents since the BK reduction announcement. Remember the Q in IAH with teasing gear? Didn't something else happen in IAH too?
The same as it is to expect pilots to fly those planes until the bitter end.

They may or may not be the most skilled, but I doubt any of them would intentionally do shoddy work. They may be overworked and may have made a mistake, but I still think those who remain are doing the best they can.

I don't know about you, but all the mx guys I have talked to (Colgan and at other companies) try to do their best. Nobody wants somebody's blood on their hands.

Maybe I am a fool, but I like to believe we are all still professionals.
