Do any of you look at the pilot attrition data the company has begun putting out? I cant help but notice th number of "terminations" this year. I have been here just over 5 years and I can only recall 1...maybe 2 people being let go. 5 seems like a lot. No?

I know of 2 that were "terminated" because the company got tired of them never being able to pass a checkride EVER without extra sims or what have you.
Buffalo has taught them that an atrocious training record is now a liability for the company.
When this happens the union gets involved and typically the person is offered the option to quit or they do something like give said person a permanent leave of absence.
Long story short study for your checkrides.
