I'm holding down reserve and in March I had vacation. With our system I am able to hold a line during vacation months which are always two 4days or a 4day and a 3day. I was on reserve the last 5 days of February. I got awarded a line that consisted of a 3day starting on the 1st day of March and a 4day at the end of the month. We cant work 7 days in a row so that 3 day got turned into a One day. I worked 5 days in March and got paid 75 hours.
Jetblast, lets say during a vacation month you are going to work the least amount of days as possible, how many days would this be?
And thanks for explaining some numbers instead of just saying we can swing your gear and we have a pos contract.
The best I've done I believe is 5 days of work for the month at 75 hours. Using two weeks I was able to get a straight 40 days off. The biggest thing I like about our rules though is I can get all this time off and pick up 2 more days of work and get paid 90 hours. If I'm able to get a line where I only work 5 or 6 days, I can work 8 days and get paid 90 hours. Like I said, if we work to combine the best of both I think we can have something pretty good.
