Can you enlighten? When did this happen? Comair had a strike that grounded all flights for 3 months, had 3 aircraft go down(bad publicity), then canceled all flights on Christmas in '04(even more bad publicity). Then when Delta went down in bankruptcy they took Comair with them(wait more bad publicity). Comair had a rough run. They might have had nice looking payscales but come bankruptcy time things were changing. They wanted a paycut. The pilots voted for it and the FA's wouldn't. They took the FAs to court and the judge ruled in the FA's favor kind of tieing their hands. It wasn't till after that point that Delta awarded some of the flying to Skywest. Plus wasn't it actually Chattaqua who got the first flying?
