This legacy ASA guy listened to and spoke with an MEC rep in ATL and I fully expect a concessionary contract for both sides, even though we have more leverage now than possibly ever before. Their only concern, as I see it, is a few bucks for the senior guys and continuing the measly 1% raise a year for those same guys topped out on the scale. I explained to one of those guys the other day that every year he's losing atleast 2% in purchasing power per dollar. His retort was "well, 1% is quite a bit of money when your topped out on the scale". This is what we have to deal with in this sector of the industry :/
