It would appear your sources are crap. Word is the BOD vote failed 11-5 to send it to the pilots. I'd assume scope was the deal killer.
Good luck to all at AA, as Friday it's likely Lane will turn AA into an airline whose employees are all under forced work orders including the pilots, flight attendants and mechanics.
If I were the UCC, I'd be going bat**** right about now.
