Ehhhh, they're Non Essential..... who cares?
Except the "Dark Side" when the time limits are up on those, and no one notices, until you take a delay, and then gets posted about in the Chief Pilot's news letter about taking a delay for something as "trivial" as something "Non-Essential"....
BUT, if the company was wrong for not following the program, they self disclose, you get violated...
